As an early member of the EIB team advising the EIC Fund, he has been closely involved in shaping its investment strategy from the outset. Today, he leads the team driving the adoption of a data-driven VC model for one of Europe’s largest Deep Tech funds. Passionate about the insights data can unlock, Philipp is enthusiastic about the transformative potential of emerging technologies in the years ahead.

Ties leads the data function at Dawn Capital, focusing on Rolodex, the firm’s proprietary data and AI platform for relationship intelligence. The platform helps investors make smarter, more strategic connections with other VCs by leveraging AI-driven insights, including 2nd- and 3rd-degree network relationships. At Dawn, Ties’ work centers on enhancing human relationships through technology, not replacing them. Prior to Dawn, Ties was Revenue Analytics Lead at Google, managing several billion dollars of its advertising business. While there, he also contributed to AI projects for diagnosing diabetic retinopathy and mapping air pollution in European cities. Ties is also the co-founder of Cognitas.tech, a company collaborating with the London School of Economics and other institutions to teach data science. He holds a Master’s degree in Management from the London School of Economics (LSE).

Ashley is in venture and platform ops, focused on building resilient, AI-powered systems that support the infrastructure of venture. At Autotech Ventures, she leads strategic initiatives within the Strategic Partnerships function, integrating AI into workflows that enhance how the firm engages with LPs and streamlines fundraising processes. Prior to Autotech, she was at AngelList, where she supported fund operations across a range of venture structures. Ashley brings 8 years of experience in alternative investments and holds an MBA from UCF in Orlando, where she resides.

Jochen Küst is a seasoned finance professional with over a decade of experience in the industry. During his seven years at KPMG, he developed a robust track record in data management and executive leadership. He then successfully led the transformation of finance operations at Aquila Capital, showcasing his expertise in driving operational change. Currently, as CFO at Earlybird, Jochen is spearheading a digital-first transformation of the Finance Department, aiming to enhance financial efficiency and fuel future growth.

Keshvi joined Balderton in 2022 to lead the strategy and implementation of all investment team and portfolio value-add related products, focusing on delivering data and insights. Before joining Balderton, Keshvi led the product function for payments at Allica Bank – a challenger bank in the UK focused on established SMEs. This included building and launching to market their first current account. She has worked with organisations to drive data-driven decision-making across EMEA during her time in consulting at Mastercard and Applied Predictive Technologies (now a Mastercard company). She has worked with multinational corporations, large financial institutions, governments and start-ups to demonstrate the value of external and internal datasets, as well as productising their delivery. Keshvi read Mathematics at the University of Oxford, where she specialised in numerical method solutions to real-world problems.

Natasa Ralevic is a mathematician and Data Analytics expert with more than 15 years of experience in this field, who leads the Digital Pillar and Data Analytics unit at Angelini Ventures. With a specialization in statistics and systems integration, she works closely with the investment team to develop analytical tools that identify promising opportunities in healthcare innovation. Previously, she served as Data Analytics Lead at Generali Insurance Asset Management and held senior roles at E&Y and Accenture. She holds a degree in Numerical Mathematics and Optimization from the University of Belgrade and a Master's in Statistics from University "La Sapienza" in Rome.

Based in Vienna, Lukas has been a part of Speedinvest since 2015. As the company’s deal flow manager, he is making sure that the thousands of leads which enter Speedinvest’s system every quarter are processed properly. His daily work with a host of data points also enables him to generate complex reports on our deal flow and beyond. A Vienna native, Lukas also lived in Virginia Beach and London. He studied Economics and History and holds a Master’s degree in History with a special focus on global topics. When not crunching numbers for Speedinvest, Lukas spends his time studying his favorite subject, the History of ideas and how the past shapes our understanding of the present and the future alike.

A two-time founder and former AWS Senior Manager for VC and Innovation, Scott brings deep expertise at the intersection of technology, venture capital, and market expansion. He previously served as VC GTM Lead at Capita Scaling Partners, where he helped drive successful ventures and strategic initiatives. At Quadri Ventures, he leverages this experience to back transformative companies and accelerate their growth.

Erik Vobis is an Operations & Finance Principal at EnBW New Ventures, a Corporate VC investor backed by the EnBW Group. In this role, Erik plays a critical part in driving operational excellence, optimizing financial processes, and enhancing reporting frameworks. He works closely with internal and external stakeholders, offering insights that enable informed business decisions. Additionally, Erik is a trusted advisor to financial managers within the firm's European portfolio companies, helping them develop robust finance functions. Before joining EnBW New Ventures in 2023, Erik served as a Corporate Banking Client Advisor at LBBW, where he led comprehensive finance consulting initiatives. He was responsible for advising mid-sized companies in Germany and Switzerland, improving their financial structures and performance through tailored solutions and strategic financial guidance.

Atte is passionate about using data to redefine the way VC sourcing, benchmarking and portfolio support are done. As VP of Data and Analytics at NGP Capital, Atte leads the development of the firm’s AI-powered deal flow engine “Q”, which enhances the VC’s expertise with data-driven insights. Before joining NGP Capital, Atte served as Lead Data Scientist at Dentsu, where he played a key role in building advanced analytics offerings in the Finnish market. Prior to Dentsu, he led data and analytics initiatives at the telco BSS growth company Qvantel, where he served as team lead and product manager for data and analytics.

Philippos Pouroullis, a Principal at ERV, brings over eight years of experience spanning venture capital, startup operations, and behavioural science, combining technical insight with operational expertise to support founders and invest in transformative technologies. Previously, he served as COO of an advanced battery diagnostics startup (Sention Technologies), where he helped build the company from inception—shaping its team, guiding product development, and raising several million in funding. Philippos has also worked as an operational lead at Prosemino, a deep tech venture builder, gaining hands-on experience in company creation and incubation. Alongside his investment role, he serves as an investor mentor for both the Rice Alliance Clean Energy Accelerator and the Advanced Propulsion Centre's accelerator program.

Francesco was the former Director of Data at Greycroft , where he oversaw the firm’s data strategy and builds data-driven engines to source, screen, and assess new deals. Prior to Greycroft, Francesco spent three years at Balderton Capital leading the data and research function, working on end-to-end tools, data, and algorithms for the investment team. Previously, he worked at Anthemis Group as a Fellow, and as a post-doc researcher at Ca’ Foscari University. Francesco holds a PhD in Economics from LUISS Guido Carli.

Georgiy is a Partner at Overdrive - an automation and AI consulting firm building smarter systems for better outcomes. Overdrive works with VC firms to build data infrastructure and automate systems to improve sourcing, enrichment, qualification, and reporting. Georgiy holds a Master’s in Data Science from UC Berkeley, specializing in Machine Learning Engineering. Previously, he has led the growth of multiple provincial economic data platforms in Canada, launched startups, and managed data strategy for political campaigns.

Morten leads operations at Sandwater, ensuring a solid foundation for scaling Sandwater’s portfolio companies. Morten’s background is in finance, first in investment banking and later playing a key role in the restructuring of Norwegian Air Shuttle, navigating financial and operational challenges during a critical period for the company. His experience in high-stakes financial environments has shaped his expertise in capital allocation, governance, and prudent financial management. Morten puts enhanced focus into integrating data-driven methodologies and leveraging data and AI to improve decision-making and identify promising investment opportunities. Outside of work, Morten loves spending time with his family and is always looking for the next opportunity to get on his skis—whether cross-country in the mountains or hitting jumps on twin tips.

Ben is Senior Data Engineer at Giant Ventures, where he is responsible for building and maintaining the firm’s data infrastructure. He began his career in financial engineering, working on distressed-debt securitisation before moving into data engineering at Hipgnosis Song Management, where he built and managed data infrastructure that powered $3 billion worth of music IP deals

Marton is an Associate Partner at Flashpoint. He played a key role in bringing Flashpoint’s first institutional investor: the Hungarian sovereign fund Széchenyi Funds. He led investments in Chili Piper, OfficeRnD, iDWELL, Algori, and Dodona Analytics and has participated in dozens of transactions. In addition to his investment role, he serves as the Product Manager, working with Flashpoint’s IT team to develop internal tools such as Multitool (Firmographic Intelligence + Scout Lead Submission tool), pulseAI (Auto Lead Generation tool), and Distro (Bulk Lead Categorization Google Sheets plugin). Marton has been recognized as one of the top 100 Data-Driven VC global thought leaders. He has a background in M&A, sales, equity research, and software development and was a co-founder of the Central European Startup Awards. He studied at Erasmus University Rotterdam and Corvinus University of Budapest

Lucia Cerchlan is Head of Founder Experience at BACKED VC, a London-based early-stage fund, where she partners closely with founders to help them scale from Seed to Series A. She also works on the firm’s product strategy. Before joining venture, Lucia spent a decade as an operator in high-growth startups. She led Product Research at London-based fintech companies Cuvva and Keebo (acquired by Wagestream), and drove international expansion and go-to-market strategy at Slido (acquired by Cisco) in London and San Francisco.

Michael joined HPI Ventures in 2023 and is currently Principal & Head of Product, where he leads the development of the firm’s sourcing and dealflow platform. His focus is on building data-driven systems that enhance how investment opportunities are identified, evaluated, and supported. Before HPI Ventures, Michael co-founded neopolis, a legal tech startup building a “GitHub for lawyers” that enabled collaborative drafting and version control for legal documents. He also served as a Digital Policy Advisor to the German Parliament, working at the intersection of technology, regulation, and innovation. Alongside his investment work, Michael is is an external PhD student at TU Munich, researching explainable machine learning methods for venture success forecasting and a Research Affiliate at MIT DesignX, where he explores how AI can power venture design and decision-making.

Currently Head of Data & AI at Invest-NL, he is instrumental in steering the organization towards a robust, data-centric culture, empowering impactful decision-making and innovation.

Event MC David is the co-founder of purple path, a Go-to-Market partner for B2B SaaS companies operating within VC platforms from the East Coast to Central Europe. With deep expertise in aligning sales and marketing, purple path helps portfolio companies accelerate growth through proven GTM strategies and hands-on execution, led by seasoned GTM leaders. A Southern California native now based in Central Europe, David brings a global lens to SaaS growth. He’s also the co-founder of Red Basket, a content marketing partner trusted by leading SaaS brands worldwide, and a former CEO with a successful exit under his belt.

Veronika is an investment associate at Zero One Hundred VC. She focuses on scouting new deals, conducting investment analysis, and supporting the overall investment process. She also contributes to risk assessment and helps manage the fund’s partnership agenda. Before joining Zero One Hundred, she spent three years at Boston Consulting Group - in her last year, before embracing the VC world, she was working with BCG X on venture building projects in the Middle East and Europe.

Ege is an Associate at Metis Ventures, where he focuses on sourcing and executing early-stage investments and conducting due diligence. Beyond his investment responsibilities, he serves as the head of internal technology operations, collaborating with the technology team to develop and maintain proprietary tools that enhance the fund's operational efficiency. He oversees the development of MetisX, the firm's deal sourcing platform that leverages data-driven insights to identify investment opportunities. Prior to joining Metis Ventures, Ege worked within the Turkish startup ecosystem. He holds degrees from Bocconi University and Boğaziçi University.

Alex started his career leading engineering teams at Accenture Digital on projects from mobile apps for agriculture to research tools for asset managers. As a part of EQT’s Motherbrain team, he worked hand-in-hand with investment teams and portfolio companies on projects across the entire deal lifecycle. At Inflection, Alex leads data analytics, strengthening investment decision making and outcomes through data-driven research, sourcing, and portfolio support. He graduated from Boston University in 2015 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Currently, he resides in Stockholm.

Marek Zamecnik is the CEO and co-founder of Vestberry, a portfolio intelligence software for Venture Capital firms. Vestberry enhances data infrastructure, automates workflows, facilitates communication with LPs, and provides advanced analytics to optimize portfolio managemnt. Prior to founding Vestberry, Marek gained experience in the investment sector at Nova Founders Capital in Kuala Lumpur. Additionally, he co-founded 0100 Ventures, an investment platform with a portfolio of over 30 companies, including names like Powerful Medical and 4Trans Factoring.
