Ties leads the data function at Dawn Capital, focusing on Rolodex, the firm’s proprietary data and AI platform for relationship intelligence. The platform helps investors make smarter, more strategic connections with other VCs by leveraging AI-driven insights, including 2nd- and 3rd-degree network relationships. At Dawn, Ties’ work centers on enhancing human relationships through technology, not replacing them. Prior to Dawn, Ties was Revenue Analytics Lead at Google, managing several billion dollars of its advertising business. While there, he also contributed to AI projects for diagnosing diabetic retinopathy and mapping air pollution in European cities. Ties is also the co-founder of Cognitas.tech, a company collaborating with the London School of Economics and other institutions to teach data science. He holds a Master’s degree in Management from the London School of Economics (LSE).

Based in Vienna, Lukas has been a part of Speedinvest since 2015. As the company’s deal flow manager, he is making sure that the thousands of leads which enter Speedinvest’s system every quarter are processed properly. His daily work with a host of data points also enables him to generate complex reports on our deal flow and beyond. A Vienna native, Lukas also lived in Virginia Beach and London. He studied Economics and History and holds a Master’s degree in History with a special focus on global topics. When not crunching numbers for Speedinvest, Lukas spends his time studying his favorite subject, the History of ideas and how the past shapes our understanding of the present and the future alike.

Keshvi joined Balderton in 2022 to lead the strategy and implementation of all investment team and portfolio value-add related products, focusing on delivering data and insights. Before joining Balderton, Keshvi led the product function for payments at Allica Bank – a challenger bank in the UK focused on established SMEs. This included building and launching to market their first current account. She has worked with organisations to drive data-driven decision-making across EMEA during her time in consulting at Mastercard and Applied Predictive Technologies (now a Mastercard company). She has worked with multinational corporations, large financial institutions, governments and start-ups to demonstrate the value of external and internal datasets, as well as productising their delivery. Keshvi read Mathematics at the University of Oxford, where she specialised in numerical method solutions to real-world problems.

Atte is passionate about using data to redefine the way VC sourcing, benchmarking and portfolio support are done. As VP of Data and Analytics at NGP Capital, Atte leads the development of the firm’s AI-powered deal flow engine “Q”, which enhances the VC’s expertise with data-driven insights. Before joining NGP Capital, Atte served as Lead Data Scientist at Dentsu, where he played a key role in building advanced analytics offerings in the Finnish market. Prior to Dentsu, he led data and analytics initiatives at the telco BSS growth company Qvantel, where he served as team lead and product manager for data and analytics.
